There are several things you can do, in order to help improve the library!
…write missing summaries…
If a recording or text is missing a summary text, please, help us write one! The summary is basically a few sentences that summarize the content and set the context of the teaching. A summary can also simply include chapters and/or page numbers, that say, for example: “This audio file deals with these pages in the book”.
Send us your notes with chapters and/or page numbers, that describe which audio file (or video clip), that deal with which pages or chapters in the transcript or book. We can then include them in the file names (or as file metadata). These details will help future practitioners to locate specific transcript/book-contents in the audio/video files.
Transcripts are usually an excellent support for deep study. However, if you want to write a transcript of a teaching, please, contact us first to make sure that the transcript is not already existing, because not all text material is integrated into the library yet.
…help us to improve the page…
If you know how to build a webpage in WordPress, and have some suggestions for improvement of structure and/or design, please let us know that you are interested.
…make a donation…
If you want to support the Media Library in particular, there is a Pro version of the Search and Filter plugin that we use. It would among other things make it possible to filter on the year and length of the teachings, and display the number of teachings for each category in brackets when you set your filters. When you make your donation, specify “Donation to Media Library”, or simply donate to the Ekayana Institute in general.
